E + E Podcast Episode 5: Molly Chesterson's Positive Planned Induction for Baby #3

LISTEN TO EPISODE 5

It is such a unique experience that people talk about, and when you really just feel your baby coming into the world, there is nothing like it. It’s painful, but it’s just this out of body experience. There is just so much joy in knowing that I’m doing this, and my body was meant for this.
— Molly Chesterson

ABOUT THE EPISODE

It’s Amy here, and today I have the pleasure of speaking with Molly Chesterson, who is a member of the Expecting and Empowered community and a mom to 3 beautiful little girls. Molly and I have a really special connection, because I got to be there for her third birth, which is the one that she shares about today on the podcast.

In this episode, you’ll hear all about Molly’s third birth story and why she chose to do a planned induction, her experience with doulas, and why this birth was different than her other two. She talks us through her journey, how she was able to prepare herself mentally and how important it was to have a trusted source advocating for her during the birth of her third daughter.

We want to empower you with the tools and information to help you figure out what it is that you want during childbirth, and to help provide you with more clarity in advocating for yourself during this experience, which is why we think that you’ll get so much from this conversation!

If you’ve enjoyed this episode and what Molly shares here, we would be so honored if you shared it and tagged us, @expectingandempowered and @lovebabyandtoddler on Instagram so that we can see it! We’d also be so grateful if you would rate and review our podcast in your favorite podcast app, because that’s the best way for a new podcast to get more people to listen.
